Drive a nurse to her ALS patient – Lauren P.

What:

My friend Jessica's dad has ALS. One of their family's struggles is finding good, reliable nursing care for him. One nurse is available but needs rides 1-2 times a week. I will pick her up and drive her to their home at least once a month from now through December.

Why:

I've known this family since I was in kindergarten. I know what great people they are and this is such a small thing that makes a big difference in their life. When nurses cancel or shifts can't be filled the family has to fill in. If this hour makes their lives better for 8 hours it's one that is well spent.
