A friends child was born with a rare disease that causes intestinal failure.
Thomas Kevin Onorato was the inspiration for starting TKO STRONG FOUNDATION, INC. Thomas suffers from Microvillus Inclusion Disease. This devastating genetic disease results in intestinal failure. The rarity of his disease, like others, is the cause for minimal research. There is no cure for Microvillus Inclusion Disease or intestinal failure. Therefore, we have taken the initiative to raise money to support intestinal failure research, in hope of finding a cure.
