What:
I will purchase gift certificates and gift cards, then pass them out, along with a compliment and "Thank you!", to all those behind the scene people that make my day better, over the course of one month.
Why:
All too often the "little guy" is overlooked in our day-to-day activities. S/he may be the one that keeps the bathrooms clean and stocked at your favorite lunch spot, the mailman at your office, or the crossing guard that always smiles as your child is being brought to you. These folks work for little pay and minimal recognition (unless there is a complaint), but without their services, our lives would be a whole lot more uncomfortable!
